At the beginning of 2013, MSN Messenger will not be more than a distant memory (already…) because it is going to merge with Skype. Even in our Web company in Marseille (agence web à Marseille), we remember it!
Nostalgie MSN
Who has never been on MSN? Among the generation of 18-35, there are rare people who can answer "I!" to this question. For the most part of between us, MSN corresponds more or less from the early Internet days. A little after Caramail and a little before Facebook.
We remember then long parties MSN to spend almost sleepless night to talk with the contacts, send them wizz or emoticons downloaded carefully. We could even make conversations to many people, have a practice for homework in a group, or show which music we listened in real time. At that time, we spied on offline, online statuses of our contacts, we blocked contacts, we dredged, published statuses in colors or humors. The beginnings of Facebook finally!
But all that is finished ...
MSN Messenger in Skype
In spite of MSN Messenger evolution with the profile creation where the members could put photos, comment, publish statuses (does it remind you anything?), many people haven’t been there for quite a long time ... That is why the official end was announced for the first quarter 2013. But what happens then?
Well, it is Skype which takes over. MSN Messenger will be integrated now with the new giant of online communication. It is an easy evolution because both belong to Microsoft. But do not push aside the latest believers, Microsoft has left them until 2013. Thus if you want to relive a few moments of your adolescence, it is now or never!
