Facebook sponsoring would not be a big success

Lately, we keep hearing about Facebook, but not necessarily in a positive way. After a failed initial public offering, it seems that the most popular social network in the world has trouble in finding the right financing method. The sponsored links would interest only 1 among 5 Facebook users.

A study conducted by Reuters on a thousand of Americans showed that 4 among 5 subscribers on the social network would not be pushed to purchase seeing advertisements on Facebook ... It is really sad for the social network which looks for a way to monetize a service (in fact we saw that in a Facebook paying).

Nevertheless, with 900 million subscribers, Facebook possesses a successful database. Actually, Facebook knows our sex, age, status, tastes and hobbies and ideologies as well (at least if we did not lie). So, it is the veritable gold mine for the advertisers who can reach more easily their targets. An immense database for advertisers who finally would have no expected results.

Facebook mobile users

In addition to some interests that bring users in Facebook advertisements, there are also losses of mobile phones. In fact, we now can say that many Internet users connect the social network by their smart phones. Or Facebook applications or Facebook mobile versions are not optimized to welcome sponsored advertisements or at least little. A fault which Facebook is going to have to repair if it wants to be able to find a financing way.

Facebook is the most popular site in the world; nevertheless, it seems not to be enough ...
