It was obvious that Apple products had great success at Christmas with the release of iPad in April, iPhone 4 in June, iPod Touch 4 in September and Macbook Air in October. The first figures have just fallen thanks to Facebook that indicates a marked increase of using its application for iOS.
1.6 million users. This is the number of additional users of the Facebook application for iPhone and iPod Touch that was recorded between December 25 and 27. Although we do not know the approximate number of new iPhone and iPod users, the number allows us to realize how popular Apple products are on this Christmas holiday. It simultaneously explains the saturation of the servers on the day 25. These figures are especially encouraging for Apple as the application for Androïd has not developed in the same way.
