Web developer, does he exist?

The Web developer’s job is mainly male. Moreover, the term conjugates with difficulty. At Jalis, we can talk about it with the female because a girl is a member of the Web development team. It is Pascale S. who talks to us about her job!

 How long have you worked at Jalis and what is your function in the Web company?

I have been worked as Web developer at Jalis for 5 years. I take charge of communication between the site and the administration as well as the functionality evolution offered to customers.

Before integrating Jalis, what was your job?

I got a DUT in Computing in  IUT of Aix-en-Provence. Then, I obtained a diploma pro New Technology of the Computing (NTI) in Saint Charles faculty in Marseille. Jalis is my first job.

What do you like in your work?

 Everyday is something different!

Which Jalis site are you most satisfied with?

Technologically speaking, I would say Leforestier Immobilier, which are sites with a complete mobile version (the contents of site mobile are the same as the version normal). Speaking from my heart, that would be Cactus Story, even if it was old, it is the one that I prefer.

Which site gave you the hardest time and why?

The site of the real estate agency with terrace, because the customer had a very precise idea of his web site. He sent us a model in PDF which he wanted so that it is simpler to visualize.

Have you had some advice to give those who begin in the Web sector?

It is necessary to be patient, to have a mathematical logic and a touch of madness.
