11/06/2017

Le Shamrock

Le Shamrock  appears unsurprisingly in the selection of the inescapable bars of the Phocaean city. And it is little to say it! For a few months, due to the success, the establishment has pushed away the closure of doors until 4:00 (at the weekend), leaving regular customers with the possibility of dancing on the track until the early morning. The big terrace, situated on the Old harbor, is open in both summer and winter. You have the choice among 19 brands of different beers. For the most difficult, an assortment of 150 whiskeys, 40 rums and a gin as well as about ten references of vodkas are also shown in the menu.

This Marseille pub is the ideal place to enjoy after a working day and have a pleasant time with friends.

Le O' Malley

In real institution, le O’Malley made the Irish tradition alive... to Marseille inhabitants. Barrels for a makeshift table, red and black walls, flag of the green island floating in the four winds and fantastic view over the Old harbor brings to you immediately in Dublin or Galway. We come there with friends to share one of the numerous matches live-broadcasted, for a concert or simply their selection of beers.

Le Red Lion

We leave the city center and we get closer to Borely beaches. Created in 97, le Red Lion is undoubtedly the most inescapable and authentic pub in Marseille. Inside: two rooms (British Pub and Lounge bar), in the rustic decoration and in such British atmosphere. Outside: the terrace, always crowded, is fitted out by wooden tables and barrels. At once, we are attracted by its simplicity and  informal atmosphere, at the same time rock and family.

In Red, we find it faces with the sea in the late afternoon to sip a syrup, or at the beginning of the party to begin the aperitif.

Le O’bradys

For Ireland’s lovers and the amateurs of beers, le O’bradys is a reference place. Spaced from the hubbub of the city center, at the heart of the Saint Anne's small village, the regular customers take pleasure to share a friendly moment in a warm space. We adore the terrace of high tables and barrels, the internal ceiling sports 100% with its multitude of shirts. We take pleasure to make an appointment to view a match of the real pint of 56 cl, on the longest wooden counter in Marseille (18.5 meters!).

20,000 leagues

Embark on the universe of Jules Verne! Situated in Goudes, just in entrance of fishermen's village, le 20 000 lieues (20,000 leagues) waits for you. Being created 16 years ago, this famous pub in Marseille became symbolic. The internal decoration is one clashing mixture of marine universe (portholes as windows) and of rock 'n' roll atmosphere (music and billiards). The outside offers you an exceptional terrace, having a sea view to take your breath away.

Here, we find a barrel around to sip a drink and nibble at a pizza, while admiring the beauty of Goudes habour.
