Marseille becomes a laboratory of cultural innovation on the occasion of "Sundays of Canebière ", thanks to Divercities, a smart-phone application, developed within the framework of an European project.
To celebrate 90 years of the mythical artery of Marseille, city hall of the 1st and 7th districts and more than 80 cultural actors are going to liven up Canebière last Sunday of every month from January 29th to November 26th, 2017.
Cinema, poetry, music, dance, painting, gastronomy but also digital arts will be exposed throughout the day with Canebière on the pedestrian occasion. On this occasion, Marseille becomes a laboratory of cultural innovation thanks to Divercities, a smart-phone application developed by the cooperative 1D Lab.
A playful and cultural Marseille application
Descabestra association, the member of the application cooperative and publisher is the phenomenon’s initiative. On Sundays of Canebière, Divercities is going to list and locate the set of the cultural manifestations disseminated at the heart of the city center.
By means of recreational capsules including musical extracts or videos related to the programming, this application is a real alternative in the discovery of the key places and cultural activities of the city.
A free and remunerative Web application
Divercities, it is also a system of complementary remuneration for all the cultural actors participating in the event. Furthermore, it is free without any advertisements.
