The second sector of Jalis portraits . This week, you are going to discover the job of Marc B., a Web project manager at Jalis. A multi-faceted post, junction of the customers, the commercial services and the production team.
How long have you worked at Jalis and what is your function in the Web company?
It will take 3 years in January, 2013 when I am a Web project manager.
Before joining Jalis, what was your job?
Being trained as an engineer, before joining Jalis, I have been a project manager for the development of a Web application, study/development/training of the users/follow-up of the application for a team of 40 people.
A small description of the Web project manager’s post?
Project manager: the interlocutor of each service, the link between the technique and the customer. The project managers are Jalis technical image with the customer. Our work: is to audit, understand and respond the customer’s need through an important communication tool: a website. Our objective: is to make every customer become a webmaster trained of the referencing conception and a perfect speaker to take down new prospects on the Internet.
Which part do you prefer in your project manager's job?
The listening, diversity, job discovery, companies, methods of work and people.
Which Jalis site are you most satisfied with?
Undoubtedly: www.comptoiruniverseldelor.com: at first, a customer without any computer competence, has difficulties in sending an e-mail .... After 2 years working together, he manages a small group of 8 webmasters who decorate 5 Jalis sites of contents ... and now he knows more about referencing than other 390 Jalis customers!

Which site gave you the biggest headache and why?
www.family-sphere.com: it is the most complete service that I set up at Jalis. There are real technical constraints to deal with in one year: 1 national site of presentation, 1 job site, 1 quadruple site, more than 25 company sites ... and a mobile site. Various interlocutors: a leader, a technical person, a person in charge of communication ... and a network of more 90 companies than it was necessary to form (in a seminary in Paris and by telephone for the delivery of 25 company sites).

Would you have some advice to give to those who begin in the Web sector?
What made me choose the way of Web at first while I was an engineer in computing: it is one of the rare jobs where we can even leave a blank page without any constraints for every customer .....
