Mobile Friendly label facilitates the experiment of the mobile Internet users on Google

Recently, Google has announced the implementation of a label "Mobile Friendly" in the results of mobile research. The purpose is to distinguish the optimized sites or not for the mobile, based on Google. Jalis returns to explain to you who will be the beneficiaries and what will be the advantages.

What is the label "Mobile Friendly"?

The compatible sites with the mobile terminals (based on Google) can soon benefit from a label "Mobile Friendly" or "Optimized Mobile" in France. The distinction will just be shown in front of meta present description in the results of Google.

In fact, this novelty is going to extend in a few weeks (at the beginning of 2015?) in all Europe.

Now more than 27 million mobile Internet users in France in 2014 (compared with 23 million in 2013), or more than 50% of more than 11 years, to opt for a mobile site or a mobile compatible site is more than ever essential.

Which site can benefit from the label "Mobile Friendly"?

The mobile sites and the sites in responsive design can be offered the label "Mobile Friendly" with some conditions:

- A content readable and resized on the site. The Internet user will not have to zoom.


- Links spaced out enough from each other. In fact, nothing is more annoying to find with a mobile and not to succeed in clicking the good link.


The purpose to favor the experiment of the Internet user which navigates more and more via the mobile terminals, the smart phones and the tablets.

The assets of this label "Mobile Friendly"

The Internet users as the Web sites can benefit from the presence of this new label on the SERP of Google via motive:

- For the Internet users, Google label is really going to improve their navigation. More time waste to click on links of too slow pages, too much loaded for the motive.
