The calm power of Jalis Coordination service, Fabrice reveals various professional lives. A man in the atypical work as a Web project manager’s accountant, and always carries out his jobs with passion. He likes all the diversity surrounding his profession, as well as the customers’ support in their craziest projects.
How long have you worked at Jalis and what is your function in the Web agency?
I entered the company Jalis in Mars 2006. Working as a telemarketer, I turned to the canvassing on the ground. After a few weeks, the post of Project coordinator was proposed to me and I accepted.
Before joining Jalis, what was your job, which training did you follow?
I have obtained accountant's training (BTS) and Bachelor's degree of Economic and Social Administration. I have had several jobs. My main job was in the company Auchan where I worked as an accountant during several years, then I joined SAV.
I’ve also created my own company, a cybercafé in Marseille, during 3 years.
Can you describe your current post in a few words ?
Today, I am a project manager. My work relates to making the interface between Jalis partner and the service production. When the partner signed a subscription contract, I go to meet him/her, we develop a communications strategy for the Web site together. We optimize the new tool so that it is visible on Google.
Then, I train the partner how to use Jalis tool.
To finish, I am available for helping the partner to always make progress and help him/her in case anything goes wrong.
What do you prefer in your work?
The diversity! Diversity of cases, diversity of people, no day is like another. To meet real-estate agents, jewel creators, masons, technicians of swimming pools, it is an incomparable wealth.
To take up projects, see small companies increasing, gaining customers and money, it is a daily satisfaction.
Which Jalis site are you most satisfied?
It’s difficult to choose because I installed more than 1,000 web sites... I am quite connected to the sites that I installed in 2006 and it developed in a flagrant way today. If I have to quote one from them, I would say Un mas en Provence. It is one of the first sites that I coordinated. I began, a high-quality real estate agency in Luberon. I was proud of the result and even more after the revision of sites and the obtained results today.
Which site gave you the hardest time and why?
It is also difficult. I could quote the site Grenadine of Souvenirs Provençaux.
It is an uneasy file requiring a partner who had many hard demands to deal with. It required me a lot of energy and complete technical service for a result which exceeds all the expectations today. It is finally a great success!
Do you have some advice to give those who begin in the Web sector?
As in all the jobs, I think that the passion livens up the rest. If we are fascinated by our job, as I am, we get up in the morning being impatient to discover a working day.
In Web or somewhere else, without passion, nothing takes place.
