Eric Armanet's portrait

Eric Armanet's portrait, Web project manager in Lyon

08/18/2015

At Jalis, we have technical salesmen. And, we also have project coordinators who do not hesitate to position in commercial to offer new Jalis tools to their customers, perfect their presence on Web. Eric Armanet has a double hat, and even triple... Discover his interview!

How long have you worked at Jalis and what is your function in the Web company?

Since the end of 2012, I have joined Lyon company before working for the commercial companies. Now, I have several functions:

 - project manager (realization of specifications and deliveries of Jalis sites)

 - commercial

- formative (I take charge of training customers in Lyon).

Before joining Jalis, what was your job?

I have a program of engineer in Systems and Networks after achieving Bac C (yes, I am old) and a pre-school. At the same time, I pursued sales training courses. Before joining Jalis, I worked at a consulting company and I participated  actively in the creation of Neocoah network at the same time. It is coaches' network for leaders of SME based on a behavioral approach to the sale and the management. I was in charge of technical, Web parts and training. It is at Neocoach where I have acquired the contact with an exceptional coach of good notions and behavioral management and sales which serve me every day.

Can you describe in a few words your current post?

At the moment I am in charge of the "putting in music" solutions sold by the commercial or myself, which is to realize precise specifications to obtain the closest Jalis tool which the customer needs to develop. The pure commercial part is quite small for me at the moment because we are overwhelmed of projects;) but it should evolve.

What do you prefer in your work?

The diversity! Both in terms of typologies of customers and in my activity: sale, specifications, trainings thus.

Which Jalis site are you most satisfied with and why?

Storema and sub-domain Pergola. This customer evolved with Jalis and also supported the development from Jalis to Lyon by his laudatory testimonies. Thanks for the passage!

Which site gave you the hardest time and why?

The company site of Sainte Foy Immobilier because the customer was little available during several months and it was necessary to develop together with the customer a specific footbridge to have no contents duplicated at all. The result and the customer satisfaction are at the meetings but it was long.

Do you have some advice to give to those who begin in the Web sector?

Be fascinated, do not count your time, be interested in the Web’s current events!
