Because Cyril A.  has been at Jalis since 2004, he is a member of commercial pillars of the Web company from Marseille. Being proud of Web tools that Jalis gives companies, he likes finding and converting most possible prospects to help them develop best their activity. On Jalis Blog, he talks about his job as a telemarketing  manager.

How long have you worked at Jalis and what is your function in the Web company?

I started working at Jalis in October, 2004, which is very soon after the company’s establishment. I work as a telemarketing manager.

Before joining Jalis, what was your job?

As a holder of a High school diploma STT of commerce option in 2001, I then obtained a BTS commercial Action (recently MUC) in alternation, by having working at first for 1 year as on telesales operator in IPROJECT, SSII located in Paris, then Jalis. I ended my training with a DEESMA (marketing), always in alternation, which corresponded very well to what I wished to make. I always wanted to work in the marketing field.

Could you describe your current post in a few words?

My function is to realize the first phone contact in a document of qualified prospects to clear the undergrowth, make arouse the Interest and create the need. Then I prepare, when it is convenient, the process of the commercial activity’s starting up: it materializes by making an appointment relayed to a business engineer who will exploit the information which I give to him to conclude an actual sale in short cycle. Since April, 2012, my function has been changed because I also contact customers to offer them the additional products in the existing site(s), for example site web mobile.

What do you prefer in your work?

I like the PR and the fact of offering innovative products, in constant evolution and which please me, in prospects' pool which doesn’t necessarily have the Internet knowledge in the world. I also like the satisfaction for convincing a business manager to grant a part of its time which is precious and make benefit of Jalis tools. I am in some way of a business contributor, what is the same as the first link of the channel.

Which Jalis site are you most satisfied?

The site of Fêter et Recevoir, because I played the key role of the phone negotiation with the customer, which was a long-term negotiation. I am satisfied because the site brought out recently is a great success at the ergonomic and graphic level.

Do you have some advice to give those who begin in the Web sector?

Please be interested in all the new cyber-technologies (because everything changes very fast in Web!), keep a young and dynamic spirit, share our knowledge regardless of what we take in a Web company!
