Apple's Keynote

Apple’s keynote on June 10th: impressive despite the absence of Steve Jobs

06/11/2013

Tim Cook presented iOS7 over the last keynote of June 10th. Apple’s fans will be happy to find several new releases in terms of design and features.

More than 6,000 developers attended the presentation of the latest Apple release and for the WWDC last night, annual developer conference takes place from June 10-14. This keynote, long awaited by Apple’s fans, also represented a big challenge for the firm that faces global competition (Google, Android or Samsung). The iOS operating system had in fact wearied consumers because of the little evolution, and all the attention engaged in the designer Jonathan Ive, in charge of iOS.

Phil Chiller first introduced the latest Macbook Air, with a new design and a better autonomy (within one day apparently), then he explained an overview of Mac pro: better processor, more memory, high definition and cylinder shape, Mac Pro will be launched this year.

It was Tim Cook's turn to present iOS7 with this video:

Apple is inspired by Android with a number of new features: improvement of multitasking system and Control Center, photo filters, file sharing with AirDrop, better voice control with Siri, ITunes Radio. iTunes Radio will be integrated in the music app, you can create your own radio station and access it without subscription free of charge. Finally, iOS7 provides a new security system: it will be impossible to restart the stolen iPhone because it will have been blocked remotely.

The new iPhone will be available this fall: be patient!
